Description
HOW AMMONIUM PHOSPHATE DAP 18-46 WORKS:
DAP 18-46 is a fertiliser distinguished by outstanding action dynamics. The key to its effectiveness is the chemical synergy of its components – the nitrogen contained in the fertiliser physiologically supports phosphorus uptake by plants, preventing the element from becoming fixed in the soil. Importantly, over 95% of the phosphorus in this fertiliser is completely water-soluble, making it immediately available to crops. It is the product of choice for maize sowing (the so-called starter effect in the row planter), but it also performs excellently in the cultivation of cereals, oilseed rape, and vegetables. Thanks to precise granulation, the fertiliser evenly covers the field surface, quickly replenishing deficiencies and stimulating plants to develop a deep root system, which guarantees stable yields even under challenging water conditions.
Advantages of using DAP 18-46 fertiliser:
- Highest availability: Over 95% of phosphorus is water-soluble, ensuring rapid fertiliser action.
- N-P synergy: The presence of nitrogen in the granulate naturally stimulates and facilitates phosphorus uptake by the root system.
- Ideal starter: Excellent for row application (e.g. in maize), providing plants with energy during critical early growth stages.
- High concentration: A total of 64% pure nutrients in each granule, increasing fertilisation efficiency.
- Soil regeneration: Especially recommended for sites with low phosphorus availability, quickly restoring their yield potential.
- Versatility: Suitable for all cultivated plants on soils of varied agronomic categories.
COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES:
Phosphorus (P): 46% (in phosphate form, >95% water-soluble).
Nitrogen (N): 18%.
Form: Uniform granules facilitating precise sowing.
APPLICATION RANGE AND DOSES:
General recommendations:
Ammonium phosphate DAP is a universal fertiliser intended for pre-sowing application (mixed with soil to a depth of at least 10 cm) and starter application (in row planters). It can also be applied as top dressing. The product can be mixed directly before sowing with nitrogen fertilisers, and at any time with potassium salt and potassium sulphate. Doses should be adjusted according to soil fertility and expected yield.
Dosing (kg/ha):
Winter cereals (wheat, triticale, rye, barley)
Recommended dose: 100 – 200 kg/ha (depending on expected yield of 8 t/ha and soil fertility).
Spring cereals
Recommended dose: 75 – 200 kg/ha.
Winter oilseed rape
Recommended dose: 100 – 300 kg/ha (higher doses recommended for yields around 4 t/ha).
Maize
Recommended dose: 100 – 200 kg/ha (excellent results with row planter application).
Sugar beet
Recommended dose: 100 – 250 kg/ha.
Potato
Recommended dose: 80 – 150 kg/ha.
Grassland
Recommended dose: 80 – 150 kg/ha.
Fodder beet
Recommended dose: 80 – 150 kg/ha.
