Description
MODE OF ACTION OF AXIAL ONE 50 EC:
The product is a herbicide absorbed through the leaves of weeds, which quickly moves to the growing points of shoots and roots. It contains two active substances with different modes of action. Pinoxaden inhibits fatty acid biosynthesis (controls grassy weeds), while florasulam inhibits branched-chain amino acid synthesis and cell division (controls dicotyledonous weeds). The first symptoms are growth inhibition, changes in leaf coloration (to anthocyanin, red or chlorosis), and ultimately complete drying out of weeds after 7-10 days.
Advantages of using Axial One 50 EC:
- Comprehensive control: Effectively eliminates troublesome monocotyledonous weeds (including blackgrass) and dicotyledonous weeds.
- Rapid penetration: Penetrates leaves instantly and translocates within the plant, reaching the sites of action.
- Application flexibility: Safe application possible both in autumn and spring timings (in winter cereals).
- High efficacy: Visible effects in the form of weed death within a few days after treatment.
AXIAL ONE 50 EC ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
pinoxaden (compound from the phenylpyrazolin group) - 45 g/l (4.55%)
florasulam (compound from the triazolopyrimidine group) - 5 g/l (0.51%)
AXIAL ONE 50 EC SCOPE OF USE, TIMINGS AND DOSES:
Effect on weeds:
Sensitive monocotyledonous weeds: sterile oats, blackgrass, barren brome.
Sensitive dicotyledonous weeds: volunteer oilseed rape, shepherd's purse, cornflower, chamomile, scentless mayweed, field forget-me-not, cleavers, common poppy, knotgrass, common chickweed, field pennycress.
Moderately sensitive weeds: white goosefoot, purple dead-nettle.
Resistant weeds: field bindweed, field violet, ivy-leaved speedwell, Persian speedwell.
How to apply Axial One 50 EC:
Winter wheat, winter barley, winter triticale, rye (Autumn application)
Autumn treatment
Maximum/recommended dose: 1.0 l/ha / 0.75 – 1.0 l/ha
Application timing: Apply from the 2-leaf stage of the crop plant (BBCH 12) until the end of autumn vegetation.
Maximum number of treatments: 1
Recommended water volume: 200–300 l/ha
Winter wheat, winter barley, winter triticale, rye (Spring application)
Spring treatment
Maximum/recommended dose: 1.3 l/ha / 1.0 – 1.3 l/ha
Application timing: Apply after vegetation restart until the second node stage of the crop plant (BBCH 32).
Maximum number of treatments: 1
Recommended water volume: 200–300 l/ha
Note: Use the higher recommended dose in cases of strong dicotyledonous weed pressure and advanced weed growth stages.
Spring barley
Spring treatment
Maximum/recommended dose: 1.0 l/ha / 0.75 – 1.0 l/ha
Application timing: Apply from the 4-leaf stage of the crop plant (BBCH 14) to the first node stage (BBCH 31).
Maximum number of treatments: 1
Recommended water volume: 200–300 l/ha
Note: Use the higher recommended dose in cases of strong dicotyledonous weed pressure and advanced weed growth stages.
Spring wheat
Spring treatment
Maximum/recommended dose: 1.3 l/ha / 0.67 – 1.3 l/ha
Application timing: Apply from the 4-leaf stage of the crop plant (BBCH 14) to the first node stage (BBCH 31).
Maximum number of treatments: 1
Recommended water volume: 200–300 l/ha
Note: Use the higher recommended dose in cases of strong dicotyledonous weed pressure and advanced weed growth stages. Apply the product on all crops during the period of highest sensitivity of grassy weeds (BBCH 10-19) to actively growing weeds not covered by the crop plant.
