Description
Bactim Słoma Intermag – foliar biostimulant
Bactim Słoma is a biopreparation accelerating the decomposition of post-harvest residues (contains bacteria for straw decomposition) and improving soil fertility with nutrients available to plants and humus. It is intended for use on post-harvest residues of all cultivated plant species. The biopreparation contains unique bacterial strains characterised by the ability to synthesise large amounts of cellulolytic enzymes causing rapid cellulose decomposition. These bacteria, after application on post-harvest residues, quickly multiply and act effectively. They also have a positive effect on plant metabolism, including stimulating root system development, making unavailable phosphorus accessible, and increasing plant yield.
Bactim Słoma – key benefits of using the preparation:
- Increase in nutrient content and humus in the soil,
- Easier and faster soil cultivation,
- Better emergence, growth and health of plants.
Mode of action of Bactim Słoma:
Bacteria contained in the Bactim Słoma preparation produce large amounts of enzymes that break down cellulose contained in post-harvest residues – the basic structural component of plants.
Composition of the Bactim Słoma Intermag biopreparation:
- Bacillus subtilis sp. - 5x108 CFU/ml,
- Zinc (Zn) - min. 0.07% (w/w),
- Iron (Fe) - min. 0.07% (w/w).
Bacteria Bacillus subtilis strain B00105 and Bacillus licheniformis strain B00106 are specialised in decomposing plant residues. They originate from a natural environment. The Bactim Słoma Intermag preparation does not contain genetically modified microorganisms or plant pathogenic organisms.
How to use the Bactim Słoma Intermag biopreparation? Bactim Słoma application.
The Bactim Słoma biopreparation contains bacterial spores concentrated on a natural carrier, which may settle at the bottom of the container. Sedimentation is a natural phenomenon and does not affect the product’s usability. Before use, the preparation should be thoroughly mixed by inverting the container and shaking vigorously.
The Bactim Słoma biopreparation can be applied by:
- Medium-droplet spraying (after application, mix the biopreparation and residues shallowly with the soil). Avoid excessive sunlight during spraying – the treatment is best performed in the evening.
- Applying to evenly distributed natural fertilisers in the field – manure, especially fresh, strawy, compost.
