Broccoli Leonidas F1 is a mid-early variety mainly intended for the fresh market. It is characterised by strong plant health and vigorous growth, which translates into a stable yield. The plants form high-raised heads, which facilitate harvesting and minimise the risk of damage during cutting.
The head has a compact structure, free of anthocyanin discoloration, with small and uniform buds. The average head weight ranges from 400 to 600 g. The variety responds well to cultivation in fertile soils and shows resistance to hollow stem. It is intended for late summer and autumn harvests.
