Description
ACTION AND EFFECTIVENESS OF BROS GRAIN FOR MICE AND RATS:
The preparation acts with a delay of several days, which is crucial in deratisation. Rodents are intelligent animals and if an individual dies immediately, the rest of the colony avoids the food source. The delayed action means that pests do not associate the poison with danger. Additionally, the grain has mummifying properties, which limits the formation of unpleasant odours related to the decomposition of dead individuals.
Advantages of using grain for rodents:
- High attractiveness: Whole cereal grains are a natural and most preferred food for mice and rats.
- Effectiveness after 1 consumption: The strong active substance eliminates the pest after a single dose.
- Safety: Contains Bitrex – a very bitter-tasting substance that prevents accidental ingestion by children or pets.
- Convenient form: Portion bait in sachets facilitates laying and limits direct contact with the product.
- Hygiene: Mummifying properties facilitate the removal of dead rodents.
USAGE RULES AND DOSES:
The poison should be laid in places where rodents are most commonly found: along walls, on runways, near burrows, and nesting sites. Do not open the sachets – rodents will easily gnaw through the packaging to get to the grain.
| Pest | Recommended dose | Place of use |
|---|---|---|
| House mouse | 60 g | Inside buildings |
| Brown rat | 100 g | Inside and around buildings |
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Deratisation stations: The bait should be placed only in secured deratisation feeders fixed to the growing medium. This protects the poison from access by children, non-target animals, and from flooding.
- Monitoring: Regularly replenish eaten bait and replace contaminated bait.
- Removal of dead individuals: Dead rodents should be removed using protective gloves or tongs.
- Prevention: To prevent the return of pests, remove food sources (e.g. spilled grain, food leftovers) and block holes through which rodents enter buildings.
Warning: Before use, be sure to read the label and the information leaflet attached to the product.
