Cape Horn F1 is an early conical cabbage variety, mainly intended for the fresh market. It is a hybrid cabbage that initiated the cultivation of conical varieties worldwide. This variety is distinguished by a delicate leaf structure and exceptional flavour, making it ideal for direct consumption and as an ingredient in fresh salads. It also features a long harvesting period, allowing flexible harvest planning.
Cape Horn F1 plants are tolerant to low temperatures and resistant to premature bolting, making this variety an excellent choice both at the beginning and end of the cabbage season. The heads are small to medium-sized, weighing from 1 to 1.5 kg, with a conical shape and a short, fine inner core. The leaves are soft, light green, with a delicate texture.
