Celeriac Talar

Sow in February, until mid-March in trays or a heated cold frame. Prick out at 4x4 cm. Seedlings can be produced without pricking out, in which case a sparser sowing should be used. Transplant seedlings with 3-5 leaves into the ground from mid-May to mid-June, at a spacing of 30-40 x 15-25 cm. Requires humus-rich, fertile, sufficiently moist soil. Cultivated in the second year after manure application.
