Description

Exirel 100 SE 1l FMC - insecticide for apple tree, pear tree, sour cherry and sweet cherry

What are the benefits of using the insecticide Exirel 100 SE, FMC?

  • Wide range of controlled insects - now also controls the destructive scale insect,
  • Dedicated for use in orchard crops of fruit trees,
  • Final effect visible already 3-6 days after treatment,
  • Convenient to use,
  • Effective.

Exirel 100 SE is an insecticidal product intended for use in the cultivation of fruit trees such as: apple tree, pear tree, sweet cherry and sour cherry. It is available as a suspension concentrate for dilution with water (SE). It exhibits stomach and contact action. It acts translaminarly and systemically within the plant. Insect paralysis occurs within a few hours and is manifested by inhibition of movement and feeding of the pest. The final effect of the action is visible 3-6 days after treatment.

It controls many insect species, and recently its action has been extended to include the destructive scale insect. This insect is an increasing threat in Poland due to climate changes – milder winters, higher average temperature amplitudes. The destructive scale insect mainly inhabits woody parts of plants, but in summer it can also move to leaves and fruits. Characteristic symptoms of scale insect feeding on fruits are purple-red discolorations in the form of rings, which enlarge over time. Plants infested by the scale insect yield significantly less, fruits are smaller, uncoloured and completely lose commercial value. In extreme cases, massive scale insect feeding causes the death of entire young trees or bushes.

The product is intended for use by professional users in orchards, using self-propelled or tractor-mounted orchard sprayers.
