Rhododendrons, hydrangeas and acid-loving plants |
Fertilise in a radius wider than the crown, mixing with soil if possible and watering abundantly. For hydrangeas and older rhododendrons use doses from the upper range, for heathers and young plants from the lower range. In spring apply fertiliser at a dose of 20-40 g/m2, the second dose at 20 g/m2. In subsequent years, apply fertilisation 2-3 times with a total dose of 50-80 g/m2. |
Before planting in spring, then apply the second dose no later than the end of July. In subsequent years, apply fertilisation 2-3 times (March-April, May-June and the last by the end of July). |
