The KS-13 mowing mixture was created for intensive production of high-protein fodder. 

We recommend the KS-13 mixture for implementation on medium fertile soils with regulated water conditions.

The KS-13 mowing mixture contains a high proportion of small-seeded leguminous plants and valuable meadow timothy as well as several forms of ryegrass. The clovers used in the composition particularly contribute to a significant increase in protein content.

The varied earliness of the individual components allows for obtaining a uniform yield in subsequent cuts. Such proportions also contribute to good utilisation of plant nutrients from different levels of the soil profile. This happens because grasses use shallower layers, while clovers use deeper ones.

A large share of leguminous plants allows for improvement of soil structure and increase in fertility. It also generates savings in nitrogen fertilisation, estimated at 50-60kg N/ha annually.
