Description
ACTION OF OGRÓD 2001 FOR TOMATOES AND SWEET PEPPER:
Growing tomatoes and sweet pepper requires precise supply of potassium and phosphorus while limiting chlorides, to which these plants are particularly sensitive. The Ogród 2001 fertiliser provides a complete package of macronutrients (NPK) and magnesium, which is essential for proper photosynthesis. Regular use of the fertiliser strengthens the root system, increases seedlings' resistance to temperature drops, and guarantees uniform, intensively coloured, healthy vegetables with a natural aroma.
Advantages of using Ogród 2021 for tomatoes and sweet pepper:
- High yield quality: Ensures fruits with a juicy colour, excellent taste, and traditional aroma.
- Plant safety: Low chloride content protects delicate roots and leaves from burns.
- Long-lasting nutrition: Special granulation causes gradual release of nutrients, preventing their leaching.
- Increased resistance: Helps plants survive stresses related to low temperatures in early spring.
- Economy and efficiency: Concentrated formula allows for less frequent fertilisation while maintaining maximum effects.
COMPOSITION AND SPECIFICATION:
NPK (Mg) fertiliser 8-8-19 (2) with micronutrients (Boron, Manganese):
8% Nitrogen (N): Stimulates vegetative growth and green mass development.
8% Phosphorus (P₂O₅): Supports flower bud development and strong roots.
19% Potassium (K₂O): Key for fruit size, sweetness, and durability.
2% Magnesium (MgO): Prevents chlorosis and supports photosynthesis.
Micronutrients (B, Mn): Essential for proper pollination and fruit setting.
FERTILISATION SCHEDULE AND DOSES:
| Application timing | Tomatoes [g/m²] | Sweet pepper [g/m²] |
|---|---|---|
| 2-3 weeks before planting | 55 g | 60 g |
| 3-4 weeks after planting | 30 – 40 g | 40 g |
| Fruit setting (1st cluster) | 30 – 35 g | — |
| Subsequent fertilisation (optional) | — | 30 – 40 g* |
* after another 4 weeks from the previous dose
Application rules: The fertiliser should be evenly spread around the plants (under the canopy, avoiding direct application on the stem). If possible, the granulate should be mixed with the topsoil layer and watered abundantly to accelerate the release of mineral nutrients.
