Description
Sunshade Climbing Bean - characteristics
Sunshade Climbing Bean is a variety with yellow pods that have a diameter of 9–10 mm and a length of about 17 cm.
It is intended for cultivation in greenhouses and tunnels, offering exceptional crop quality.
Why choose Sunshade Bean?
Sunshade stands out with attractive, tasty pods that are completely fibre-free and maintain post-harvest durability for up to 2 weeks. The variety provides a very high and early yield, with the first harvests just 60 days after sowing.
The plants climb to a height of 4–5 metres, and their yield is 3–4 times higher than dwarf varieties. In greenhouse and tunnel cultivation, Sunshade often outperforms traditional tomato and cucumber crops in profitability. An additional advantage is resistance to common bean mosaic virus.
Application and cultivation recommendations
Sunshade is perfectly suited for traditional systems and mineral wool cultivation. To achieve optimal yields, it is recommended to use initial fertilisation with a high nitrogen level, and during the yield period – with a high potassium level.
Harvesting takes place every 2–3 days and lasts about 3 months, ensuring intensive production.
