Polifoska 8 (8-24-24) Grupa Azoty - NPK fertiliser
Polifoska 8 is a compound fertiliser in granule form with a bulk density of 0.9-1.0 kg/dm 3 , with the chemical composition: 8% nitrogen (N) in ammonium form, 24% phosphorus (P2O5), 24% potassium (K2O) and 9% sulphur trioxide (SO3).
Description
Polifoska 8 fertiliser with uniform light grey to dark grey granules, grain size class 2-5 mm, at least 92%. Coated granules, not permanently caking. Bulk density: 0.9-1.0 kg/dm3.
Polifoska 8 NPK(S) 8-24-24-(9) 50 kg Chemical composition:
- 8% nitrogen (N) in ammonium form,
- 24% phosphorus (P2O5) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, i.e. available in the form of mono- and diammonium phosphate, and 21% soluble in water,
- 24% potassium (K2O) soluble in water, in the form of potassium chloride, i.e. potassium salt
- 9% sulphur trioxide (SO3) soluble in water, in the form of sulphate.
Polifoska 8 Compound fertiliser B.1.1. Purpose and application :
This fertiliser can be used for all cultivated plants: winter and spring cereals, industrial and root crops, on grassland and in vegetable and orchard cultivation. POLIFOSKA® 8 is recommended for soils with similar phosphorus and potassium content, under proper organic fertilisation conditions and especially for cereals when straw is incorporated.
The highest efficiency is achieved by applying POLIFOSKA® 8 before sowing, mixing it with the soil to a depth of 10-20 cm. This fertiliser can also be used in early spring as top dressing for winter crops. Perennial crops should be fertilised in spring. POLIFOSKA® 8 can be mixed directly before spreading with urea, ammonium nitrate and Saletrzak/Salmag, and at any time with potassium salt.
Recommended Polifoska 8 doses in kg/ha*

*depending on the expected yield, calculate the Polifoska 8 dose, e.g. wheat grain yield 5 t/ha on soil with medium phosphorus and potassium content apply 33 kg Polifoska 8 per 1 tonne of expected grain yield (from the table) x 5 tonnes = 165 kg/ha Polifoska 8 or e.g. potato tuber yield 30 t/ha on soil with medium phosphorus and potassium content grown with 25 t/ha manure, apply 30 kg Polifoska 8 and 20 kg potassium salt per 10 tonnes of expected tuber yield (from the table) x 3 = 90 kg/ha Polifoska 8 and 60 kg/ha potassium salt;
1- if soil content is unknown, doses recommended for medium content soil should be used until soil analysis is performed;
2 - kg/ha potassium salt 58-60%;
3 - recommended manure dose for potato 25 t/ha, for maize for silage and for beet 35 t/ha.
