Application and dosage

Crop

Recommendations / application timing

Dose

orchard crops

during flowering and fruit growth

single dose not exceeding 100–300 kg/ha – depending on soil fertility and expected yield

field vegetables

in the 2nd–4th week of vegetative growth

single dose not exceeding 100–300 kg/ha – depending on soil fertility and expected yield

vegetable and orchard crops under cover

application by hand sowing; if there are no systems allowing fertiliser application together with irrigation, mainly as top dressing, during periods of high demand for nitrogen, potassium and calcium

single doses not exceeding 2–4 kg/100 m2 – depending on growing medium fertility, species and variety requirements, and expected yield

apple tree

end of flowering; apply fertiliser evenly in herbicide strips

200–250 kg/ha; if a high yield is expected, increase the fertiliser dose by 20–25%

apple tree – additional treatment

Treatment especially recommended in case of heavy fruiting and conditions favouring nutrient leaching; perform in mid-July. Apply evenly in tree rows, in herbicide strips

additional 150 kg/ha

onion

2–3 weeks after emergence and at the beginning of June

twice at 150–200 kg/ha

tomato

6 weeks after transplanting seedlings

150–200 kg/ha
