Description
RUBIN ACTION:
Rubin SC 50 DG is a herbicide intended for the control of blackgrass, as well as dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat, winter triticale and rye. The product is for foliar application in the form of a homogeneous granule mixture for preparing an aqueous solution, adapted for volumetric dosing. The granulate is made using SX technology, which ensures complete uniformity and solubility.
The product contains active substances with systemic action. It is absorbed through the leaves and partially through the roots. The substances move within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. The first effect of the product can be observed 14-21 days after application, and the full effect is visible after at least 40 days.
The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds. Drought or heavy rain reduce absorption and decrease the effectiveness of the product. Rubin SX 50 SG shows active selectivity, meaning that the protected plants have the ability to break down the product into inactive compounds. The product is selective for cereals at the recommended doses, from the 3-leaf stage to the end of stem elongation. The product can be used on all soils where cereals are grown.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
methyl tifensulfuron (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) – 40%,
methyl tribenuron (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) – 10%.
SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
The product is intended for use with field sprayers.
Rubin - action on weeds:
Sensitive weeds e.g.: common geranium, field violet, common chickweed, corn poppy, blackgrass, ground ivy, cleavers (up to the 5-whorl stage), scentless mayweed, shepherd's purse.
Resistant weeds e.g.: field bindweed, horsetails
How to use Rubin?
WINTER WHEAT, WINTER TRITICALE, RYE
Recommended dose for single application: 120 - 150 g/ha of product + Trend 90 EC adjuvant at 0.1% concentration (100 ml per 100 l of water).
Maximum dose for single application: 150 g/ha of product + Trend 90 EC adjuvant at 0.1% concentration (100 ml per 100 l of water).
The higher recommended dose should be used to control weeds occurring in large numbers or at a more advanced developmental stage.
Application timing: apply in spring after the start of vegetation until the stem elongation stage (BBCH 37).
Recommended water volume: 200 - 300 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Heavy dew during spraying or rainfall less than 4 hours after treatment may reduce the effectiveness of the product.
Due to the risk of resistance development in some weed species to sulfonylurea compounds, it is recommended to use the product only once per crop season on a given plant. Avoid annual use of herbicides from the sulfonylurea derivatives group on the same field.
Rubin pre-harvest interval:
not applicable
How to use Trend 90 EC
Trend 90 EC causes:
• reduction of the surface tension of the spray liquid of the herbicide,
• better wetting of the sprayed leaf surfaces of weeds and facilitation of product penetration into the plant,
• reduction of product wash-off by rain and heavy dew,
• increased effectiveness and accelerated action of the herbicide.
Recommended concentration: 0.05-0.1% (50-100 ml/100 l of water)
WARNING
The addition of the adjuvant is especially recommended when moderately sensitive weeds to the applied herbicide occur in the crops being weeded or when weeds are at a more advanced developmental stage, as well as when sprayed plants may be exposed to heavy rainfall within a few hours after treatment.
