Tomato Macapule F1 is a variety with large, round and uniform fruits, weighing 220–280 g. The fruits have an intense red colour and shiny skin, giving them an attractive commercial appearance. They also feature very good post-harvest durability, maintaining freshness for a long time after harvest.
The plants are vigorous, with horizontally arranged leaves, which promotes even fruit ripening. Macapule F1 is characterised by a high total yield, good fruit set under various conditions, and tolerance to powdery mildew. Additionally, the variety has high resistance to tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), significantly increasing production safety.
