Granulated potassium-calcium nitrate for top dressing application.

Content of nutrients:

total nitrogen – 14.2% N (including 13.7% N-NO3 and 0.5% N-NH4); potassium – 24% K2O; calcium – 12% CaO.

What distinguishes Unica™ Calcium fertiliser:

– speed of action – nutrients in rapidly acting nitrate forms;

– impact on yield – high content of nitrogen (N) and potassium (K), two of the most important nutrients responsible for intensive plant growth;

– impact on yield quality – high content of calcium (Ca) and potassium (K) improves the appearance of vegetables and fruits, enhances their firmness, taste properties, storage qualities, increases resistance to adverse environmental conditions and plant resistance to pathogen attacks, increases post-harvest durability of vegetables and fruits and reduces their susceptibility to damage during transport;

– physical properties – uniform granulate, appropriate physical parameters: density, hardness contribute to good sowing properties and lower risk of burns compared to top dressing with powder or crystalline fertilisers.

Application recommendations:

Using Unica™ Calcium fertiliser gives particularly good results during phases of intensive growth, when it is possible to simultaneously shape the quality of the produce. Unica™ Calcium is applied as a top dressing in single doses not exceeding 100 – 300 kg/ha, depending on soil fertility and expected yield:

- in orchard crops during flowering and fruit growth;

- in field vegetable crops in the 2nd-4th week of vegetative growth.

Unica™ Calcium fertiliser is used in protected crops when systems allowing fertiliser application together with irrigation are not available, primarily as a top dressing during periods of high demand for nitrogen, potassium and calcium. Application by hand sowing in single doses not exceeding 2–4 kg/100 m2, depending on growing medium fertility, species and variety requirements, and expected yield.
