Description

ACTION OF APYROS 75WG:

Apyros 75WG is a selective herbicide with systemic action designed for post-emergence control of blackgrass and dicotyledonous weeds, as well as limiting the growth and development of couch grass in winter wheat, winter triticale and spring wheat. The product also controls rye brome in winter wheat and winter triticale crops.

The product is applied foliarly - absorbed through the leaves and roots of plants, then quickly translocated throughout the plant. It completely stops or limits the growth and development of weeds shortly after application.

The product is in the form of granules for preparing a water suspension.

Advantages of Apyros 75WG:

- broad spectrum of activity: effectively controls as many as 29 species of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds, providing comprehensive crop protection.

- application flexibility: the possibility to apply the product at various developmental stages of wheat, from the beginning of vegetation to the second node stage, allows adjustment of the treatment to current conditions and weed infestation levels.

- better crop quality: the product stimulates the increase of protein and gluten content in the grain, which translates into better crop quality.

Maximum weed control effectiveness is achieved when the product is applied in mixture with the adjuvant ATPOLAN 80 EC.

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

sulfosulfuron (a compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) – 750 g/kg (75%).

APPLICATION SCOPE, TIMING AND DOSES:

Heavy rainfall and low air temperature after treatment may reduce the effectiveness of the product against couch grass.

Simplified soil cultivation, a large amount of couch grass rhizomes and insufficient crop plant density may cause couch grass regrowth.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

How to apply Apyros 75WG :

Winter wheat

Maximum dose for single application: 26.5 g/ha.

Recommended dose for single application: 13.3 – 26.5 g/ha.

Apyros 75 WG should be applied with the adjuvant Atpolan 80 EC: Apyros 75 WG 13.3 – 26.5 g/ha + Atpolan 80 EC 1.5 l/ha.

The lower recommended dose can be used for blackgrass control, the higher dose for rye brome control.

Application timing: Apply in spring on actively growing weeds.

Perform the treatment after the crop plant has started vegetation until the second node stage of cereals. The best weed control effect is achieved when dicotyledonous weeds are at the 3-5 leaf stage (5-10 cm height), blackgrass is from emergence to 2-4 leaf stage (5 cm height), and couch grass is at the 3-5 leaf stage (5-20 cm height).

Number of treatments: 1

To extend the range of controlled dicotyledonous weeds and blackgrass in winter wheat, the product can be used in mixtures with the following herbicides: Apyros 75 WG 13.3 - 20.0 g/ha + Chwastox Extra 300 SL 1.5 l/ha.

Maximum dose for single application: 20.0 g/ha.

Recommended dose for single application: 13.3 - 20.0 g/ha.

Number of treatments: 1

or

Apyros 75 WG 13.3 g/ha + Mustang 306 SE 0.4 – 0.6 l/ha

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 13.3 g/ha.

Number of treatments: 1

or

Apyros 75 WG 13.3 – 20.0 g/ha + Starane 250 EC 0.4 l/ha

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 20.0 g/ha.

Number of treatments: 1

or

Apyros 75 WG 13.3 – 20.0 g/ha + Granstar 75 WG 15 g/ha

Maximum dose for single application: 20.0 g/ha.

Recommended dose for single application: 13.3- 20.0 g/ha.

Number of treatments: 1

Mixtures should be applied at the recommended timings for the herbicide mixed with Apyros 75 WG (i.e. from full tillering stage to its end).

Note: Due to antagonism of action (reduction of weed control effectiveness against couch grass), do not use the above mixtures for simultaneous control of couch grass and dicotyledonous weeds. In such cases, perform separate treatments.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1

Winter triticale

Maximum dose for single application: 26.5 g/ha.

Recommended dose for single application: 13.3 – 26.5 g/ha.

Apyros 75 WG should be applied with the adjuvant Atpolan 80 EC at dose: Apyros 75 WG 13.3–26.5 g/ha + Atpolan 80 EC 1.5 l/ha

The lower recommended dose can be used for blackgrass control, the higher dose for rye brome control.
