AS 500 SL
AS 500 SL is an adjuvant, a preparation designed to improve the effectiveness of various herbicides, especially foliar-applied products used in small doses.

Description
How to use AS 500 SL
Composition:
-ammonium salts of polybasic acids and hydroxycarboxylic acids,
-polymer of ethoxylated amine with surfactant and cryptand (complexing agent) properties,
-pH regulator of the spray liquid.
DOSAGE:
Glyphosate should be applied at a dose reduced by 30% compared to the standard dose used under given conditions, but not less than 2 l/ha with the addition of AS 500 SL at a dose of 1-1.5 l/ha.
Higher doses of AS 500 SL should be used under less favourable conditions for herbicide activity, especially glyphosate:
*Use of hard and very hard water for the treatment according to the doses below:
| water hardness scale | mg CaCO3 /l | 0n (dGH) - German degrees |
| very soft | 0-50 | 0-3 |
| soft | 50-125 | 3-7 |
| medium hard | 125-250 | 7-14 |
| hard | 250-370 | 14-21 |
| very hard | >370 | >21 |
Water hardness should be determined by laboratory analysis (e.g. at an Agricultural Chemical Station) or approximately using the test strip included with the product. If it is not possible to determine the quality of the water used for spraying treatments, AS 500 SL should be applied at a higher dose.
*Use of large amounts of water for the treatment (above 150 l/ha)
Reducing the amount of water used for the treatment (sprayer output), especially when using glyphosate at low doses combined with the AS 500 SL adjuvant, is a very effective way to increase the weed control efficiency of the herbicide, save adjuvant, and improve spraying operations organisationally.
*Performing the treatment at air temperatures below 15°C and relative air humidity below 50%.
*Control of species more resistant to the applied herbicide.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
-check the water hardness (a control strip is included with each package):
-for water below 21 degrees, apply AS 500 SL at 1 l/ha,
-for harder water, apply AS 500 SL at 1.5 l/ha,
-glyphosate dose can be reduced by 30%, but not less than 2 l/ha,
-do not use more than 200 l of water per hectare.
