Description

ACTION AND PROPERTIES of Basfoliar® Aktiv SL:

Basfoliar® Aktiv SL is an advanced solution in the field of biostimulation and plant nutrition. The combination of key macronutrients with natural extract from Ecklonia maxima algae makes this fertiliser work in two ways: intensively nourishing and stimulating natural physiological processes. The high content of phosphorus and potassium supports strong root system development, accelerates crop regeneration after winter, and directly influences the quality, size, and uniform colouring of the commercial yield.

The presence of chelated micronutrients (EDTA) ensures their rapid and safe absorption through the leaf blade, preventing hidden deficiencies. Additionally, the natural amino acids, vitamins, and phytohormones contained in the seaweed extract act as a protective shield, safeguarding plants against abiotic stresses (such as drought or cold) and supporting their quick recovery. The fertiliser is characterised by low chlorine content, making it completely safe even for the most sensitive crops.

CONTENT OF COMPONENTS:

Total nitrogen (N) - 3.0 % (including 3.0 % urea nitrogen)

Phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) - 27.0 %

Water-soluble potassium oxide (K2O) - 18.0 %

Boron (B) - 0.01 %, Copper (Cu)* - 0.02 %, Iron (Fe)* - 0.02 %, Manganese (Mn)* - 0.01 %, Molybdenum (Mo) - 0.001 %, Zinc (Zn)* - 0.01 %

Total organic matter - 3 %

*EDTA chelated form. Chlorine-poor fertiliser. Density: 1.39 kg/l. pH: 4.5 (at 10% concentration).

Advantages of using/selecting Basfoliar® Aktiv SL:

  • Biostimulation power: The content of Ecklonia maxima extract provides plants with ready phytohormones, amino acids, and vitamins that stimulate vegetative and generative growth.
  • Rapid absorption: Thanks to the chelation of micronutrients by the EDTA agent, nutrients are quickly taken up and transported within the plant, preventing losses and maximising treatment efficiency.
  • Improvement of yield quality: The high concentration of phosphorus and potassium positively affects the uniformity, colouring, and storage parameters of fruits and vegetables.
  • High tolerance and versatility: Low chlorine fertiliser, ideal for both foliar treatments and advanced fertigation systems in protected crops.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Basfoliar® Aktiv SL:

Can Basfoliar Aktiv SL be mixed with other products?

Yes, the fertiliser can be mixed with most known fertilisers and pesticides. However, it is always recommended to perform a trial mixing test. Particular caution and checking of physical compatibility should be observed before combining with alkaline, lime, sulphur fertilisers, as well as products based on copper, magnesium, or mineral oils.

When is the best time to apply biostimulant fertilisation in field crops?

Basfoliar Aktiv SL treatments are best planned for key vegetation stages and stressful situations. For cereals and oilseed rape, the optimal timing is the start of spring vegetation, which accelerates regeneration, while in maize and potatoes, treatments are recommended to start when plants reach a height of about 25 cm.
