Red Jewel F1 is an early variety of red cabbage intended both for the fresh market and processing. It produces attractive, intensively coloured heads with a deep red colour, which in the early growth phase have an exceptionally round shape, making them also perfect for mini head production. The heads reach a weight of 1.5 to 2 kg and are characterised by good resistance to internal browning.
The Red Jewel F1 variety has a long harvesting period and performs well in summer and autumn cultivation. The growing period is approximately 70–80 days from the moment of transplanting the seedlings.
