CARROT FLORANCE F1 - VARIETY FEATURES:
purpose: fresh market, processing
growing period: 130-140 days
Carrot Florance F1 is a late variety intended for both the fresh market and processing. The growing period is approximately 130–140 days, and the high germination capacity ensures uniform plant development in the field.
The variety is characterised by a very smooth root with an intense orange, fresh and bright colour. The leaves are medium green, nicely arranged, which facilitates care and harvesting. Florance carrot is firm and shows no tendency to crack either during growth or during mechanical harvesting or washing.
The plant features high resistance to storage and field diseases, including powdery mildew and Alternaria dauci. Additionally, it shows high resistance to Cercospora carotae, Cavity spot and root cracking, which contributes to long storage and the quality of the final product.
The recommended seed sowing rate is from 0.7 to 1.8 million per hectare, allowing for optimal plant density.
