OUTDOOR CUCUMBER MAGNETAR F1

Outdoor cucumber Magnetar F1 is an exceptionally early and very high-yielding hybrid variety, which performs excellently both in gardens and in commercial cultivation. Its key advantage is very high resistance to downy mildew, enabling long and abundant yielding. Additionally, the plant is resistant to cucurbit scab and does not show tendencies to yellowing of leaves or fruits, ensuring stability and high quality of yields throughout the growing season.

Cultivation:

Sowing: seeds can be sown in a greenhouse as early as April, while direct sowing outdoors is possible from early May (first to second decade). Thinning is done between May and June.

Harvest: the first fruits can be expected as early as August. Harvesting continues until the end of September.

Sowing rate: 2–2.5 kg/ha

Spacing: 10 x 135 cm

Number of seeds: 40–50 pieces per 1 gram

Cucumbers germinate best at 20°C. Germination is possible from 15–18°C, while growth of young plants is inhibited below 10°C. Flowers open when the temperature exceeds 15°C, and anthers begin producing pollen at around 17°C.

Use:

The Magnetar F1 variety was developed with processing in mind – it is excellent for pickling and preserving, as well as for direct consumption. Its resistance, yield, and flavour make it popular among both professional growers and amateur gardeners.
