Dragster Corteva - selective herbicide with systemic action, applied to foliage, in granule form for preparing a water suspension.
The product should be used exclusively in a tank mix with an adjuvant. It is recommended to use with a non-ionic surfactant (e.g. Vivolt at 0.2%) or with methyl esters of vegetable oils (at doses recommended by manufacturers).
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Diablo 306 SE Corteva - herbicide in the form of a concentrate of solid particles and small capsules for dilution with water, applied to foliage, intended for spring control of annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat, winter barley, rye, winter triticale, spring barley, spring wheat, spring triticale, cereal mixtures and maize.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Dragster Corteva herbicide - mode of action on weeds:
The product contains active substances classified as acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors, which block the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids, thereby disrupting protein biosynthesis, resulting in inhibition of weed development, growth and death. The product is mainly absorbed through leaves and additionally through roots. The first symptoms appear shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of plants. Weeds die 10-25 days after treatment. The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing dicotyledonous weeds (at 2-4 leaf stage) and monocotyledonous weeds (at 3-5 leaf stage).
Diablo Corteva herbicide - mode of action on weeds:
Diablo 306 SE is a herbicide containing two active substances: florasulam and 2,4-D (in the form of ethylhexyl ester). Diablo 306 SE is a systemic herbicide absorbed by weed leaves and rapidly translocated throughout the plant causing deformation and growth inhibition, ultimately leading to weed death. Florasulam blocks enzyme activity during amino acid synthesis; 2,4-D inhibits plant hormones responsible for growth and disrupts cell development. Under optimal conditions, i.e. warm and humid weather, the effect of Diablo 306 SE is faster; at low temperatures (around 5°C) complete weed destruction occurs after about 3 weeks. The product controls weeds when the minimum daily temperature during 6 days after treatment is above 5°C. It is most effective on weeds at 2-6 leaf stage. Cleavers are controlled effectively up to 20 cm height, and chamomile weeds up to 25 cm. Diablo 306 SE effectively controls atrazine-resistant weeds such as common lambsquarters, black nightshade, and rough pigweed.
Dragster Corteva herbicide - active substances:
- rimsulfuron (a sulfonylurea derivative) – 148.15 g/kg (14.82%),
- tifensulfuron methyl (a sulfonylurea derivative) – 92.6 g/kg (9.26%).
According to HRAC classification, the active substances tifensulfuron methyl and rimsulfuron belong to group 2 (formerly group B).
Diablo 306 SE Corteva herbicide - active substances:
- florasulam (a triazolopyrimidine group substance) - 6.25 g/l (0.58%),

Dragster Corteva herbicide - crop rotation:
If early ploughing of the treated maize crop is necessary (due to damage by hail, diseases, pests or frost), only maize may be grown on the field no earlier than 3 weeks after weed control treatment (ploughing should be done before sowing). In autumn, after maize harvest, winter cereals (barley, rye, wheat and triticale) may be sown. In the following spring, spring barley, spring oilseed rape, potatoes, sugar beet, sunflower, soybean, pea, alfalfa and tomato may be grown.
Diablo Corteva herbicide - crop rotation:
The product decomposes in soil during the growing season without posing a threat to succeeding crops. If early ploughing of the treated crop is necessary (due to frost, diseases or pests), after seedbed preparation maize and spring cereals may be grown on the field. Follow crop rotation recommendations applicable to herbicides used in tank mixes with Diablo 306 SE.
Dragster - preparation of spray liquid:
Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required amount. Do not use water conditioners that acidify the spray liquid or adjuvants that lower water pH. Add an anti-foaming agent at doses recommended by its manufacturer to a partially filled sprayer tank with water (with agitator on). Add the measured amount of Dragster to the sprayer partially filled with water, continuously mixing the spray liquid. Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour rinsate into the sprayer tank. Fill the sprayer tank with water to the required volume. Then, continuing agitation, add the recommended adjuvant at doses recommended by its manufacturer. During application, the spray liquid should be continuously mixed. When using the product in tank mixes with other products, strictly follow the preparation instructions for those products. In case of breaks during spraying, thoroughly mix the spray liquid in the sprayer tank before resuming work. Due to the very high sensitivity of some crops even to trace amounts of the product, it is very important to thoroughly clean the sprayer after treatment, especially before use on crops other than those recommended.

Dragster Corteva herbicide - usage guidelines:
- Unfavourable conditions for maize growth and development before and after treatment may increase the risk of phytotoxicity symptoms.
- After application, some maize varieties may show transient phytotoxicity symptoms (e.g. discoloration, deformation, necrosis or stunting).
- The product contains active substances classified as ALS inhibitor herbicides. Repeated use of herbicides with the same mode of action may lead to selection of resistant weeds. To minimise the risk of resistance development, herbicides should be used according to Good Agricultural Practice:
- follow the instructions on the plant protection product label,
- use the product at the recommended dose and timing ensuring optimal weed control, do not exceed the recommended number of treatments,
- select herbicides and decide on treatment based on current or potential weed infestation, considering dominant species and damage thresholds,
- rotate herbicides (active substances) with different modes of action,
- use tank mixes of herbicides (active substances) with different modes of action,
- adapt cultivation practices to field conditions, especially weed type and severity,
- use various weed control methods, including crop rotation,
- use certified seed material,
- clean agricultural machinery to prevent transfer of weed propagules to other fields,
- inform the authorisation holder about unsatisfactory weed control,
- for detailed information, contact an advisor, authorisation holder or their representative. - Do not use the product:
- on sweet maize, popping maize and breeding material,
- on maize plants beyond the 8-leaf stage,
- immediately after prolonged cold spells (or continuous rain) on plants with inhibited growth. Treatment can be done after maize resumes vigorous growth (when wax layer is restored),
- at air temperatures below 10°C or above 25°C and during strong sunlight,
- when temperature differences between day and night exceed 15°C,
- on crops weakened by pests, frost, excess moisture, drought, nutrient deficiency or other stress factors (use on very light soils increases risk of stress),
- on wet plants (dew, rain),
- before expected rain, frost or immediately after,
- if rain is expected within 2 hours after treatment. - During application, avoid:
- spray drift onto neighbouring crops,
- overlapping spray on edges and headlands.
Diablo Corteva herbicide - usage guidelines:
- Under unfavourable weather conditions (e.g. drought), a few days after application, some maize varieties may show transient leaf discoloration, which does not affect yield quality or quantity.
- Before using Diablo 306 SE and its tank mixes with Titus 25 WG or Maister 310 WG in maize, contact the variety breeder or authorisation holder to ensure the maize variety does not react negatively to these herbicides.
- When using tank mixes, follow the usage recommendations for all mixed products.
- Do not use the product:
− on wet, diseased or damaged plants,
− in cereals with legume undersowing,
− when minimum temperature on treatment day and following 6 days is 5°C,
− at air temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C,
− during excessive drought,
− after night frosts and before expected frosts. - During application, avoid:
− spray drift onto neighbouring crops,
− overlapping spray on edges and headlands.
