Description

ERNIA 2.0

Strengthens the natural resistance of plants under adverse environmental conditions associated with the presence of cabbage clubroot,

• NEW GENERATION OF THE ERNIA PRODUCT THAT REDUCES PROBLEMS CAUSED BY CABBAGE CLUBROOT.

• ACTS PREVENTIVELY BY STRENGTHENING THE ROOT SYSTEM IN CONDITIONS FAVOURABLE TO DISEASE DEVELOPMENT.

• FACILITATES PLANT DEVELOPMENT AND STRENGTHENS RESISTANCE DURING HIGH PATHOGEN PRESSURE

Reducing the effects of oxidative stress:

Throughout its life, the plant produces reactive oxygen species – ROS. In the event of stress, the ROS level rises sharply, disrupting metabolic balance and leading to cell damage (oxidative stress).

THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF OUR RESEARCH IS TO REDUCE THE EFFECTS OF OXIDATIVE STRESS BY USING PLANT EXTRACTS,

Usage recommendations:

PREVENTIVE PROGRAM

1. Just before planting: 2% ERNIA 2.0 (soaking seedlings or spraying 2l water/m2 of seedlings).

The time between product application and planting should be minimised to reduce stress during planting. Between application and planting, seedlings should be stored in cool conditions to avoid evaporation (cover seedlings during transport).

2. About 14 days after planting: 3-4 l/ha ERNIA 2.0

Observe root growth in the disease-threatened area. In case of high infection risk (wet soil and high temperature), spraying should be done as soon as possible – before the twelfth day after planting.

3. Next spray after about 14 days: 3-4 l/ha ERNIA 2.0

Subsequent sprays aim to maintain maximum plant resistance (additional observable effects: faster cabbage head growth and better nutrient absorption).

4. Additional spray if necessary: 3-4 l/ha ERNIA 2.0

NOTES

Plant observation On heavy soils, root samples should be taken weekly. On lighter soils, root samples should be taken every 10 days. Too late application (roots completely infected, disease symptoms on leaves) is ineffective. In case of planting infected seedlings, the manufacturer cannot guarantee full effectiveness of the products. In case of mild infection at the end of vegetation, an additional spray is not necessary

Moisture

Prolonged or heavy rainfall affects the effectiveness of the products. In such cases, the field should be monitored and the number of sprays increased if necessary. In case of root flooding (e.g. after heavy rain), an additional spray should be performed. If the field is flooded for more than 2-3 days, the effectiveness of the programme cannot be guaranteed!

Soil structure

Planting conditions (especially soil structure) are directly related to the effectiveness of the products. Proper soil aeration is very important to reduce anaerobic conditions and enable proper root development.

RECOMMENDED WATER VOLUME: No more than 400 litres of water per hectare. If more than 400 l/ha of water is used, the product concentration must be maintained at 0.7%.

RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE FOR APPLICATION: ambient temperature should be between 12°C and 24°C

Products should be applied in the evening when the temperature drops.

Do not combine with strobilurins and copper-based products.

INTERVENTION PROGRAM

After first symptoms are observed on roots: 8 l/ha ERNIA 2.0

In fields where infection risk is high, plants should be constantly monitored by sampling. Do not wait until symptoms appear on leaves. NOTE: Spraying helps only if less than 50% of roots are infected.

Additional spray if necessary: 3-4 l/ha ERNIA 2.0
