Substral 2in1 Blueberry is a fast-acting fertiliser designed for blueberries and acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, hydrangeas, azaleas, camellias, magnolias, and heathers. It is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of plants, stimulate abundant fruiting, and intense flowering. The unique 2in1 formula contains two separate fertilisers (separated into two bags) – one for fertilising, the other for acidifying, enabling the supply of essential nutrients and lowering pH to create optimal conditions for plant development. It provides long-lasting effects, acting three times longer than traditional granular fertilisers. The fertiliser is highly absorbable, with up to 70% of components taken up by the plant. Thanks to it, fertilising and caring for American blueberries and other acid-loving plants becomes simpler and more effective.

In blueberry cultivation, maintaining low pH over the years is important, especially when changing the growing medium is not possible, and acidification is the only available option. Low soil pH significantly affects growth and yield abundance.

Blueberry Fertiliser 2in1 Substral - composition:

Fertilising bag - EU fertiliser NPK (Mg-S) 5-15-30 (2-7):

• Total nitrogen (N) 5% nitrogen, ammonium 5%,
• Phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) 15% soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, including 13% water-soluble,
• Potassium oxide (K2O) 30% water-soluble,
• Magnesium oxide (MgO) 2%,
• Sulphur trioxide (SO3) 7% water-soluble.

Acidifying bag (lowering soil pH): EU Nitrogenous Fertiliser N(S) 21-(24):

• Total nitrogen (N) 21%, ammonium 21%,
• Sulphur trioxide (SO3) 60% (24S) water-soluble.

Long-acting Blueberry Fertiliser 2in1 Substral - application and dosing:

• Application timing: 3 times a year in the months of April, May, June.
• Dose - acid-loving plants:
  - First year of cultivation, fertilising: 20g / 1m2.
  - Subsequent years of cultivation, fertilising: 30g / 1m2.
  - First year of cultivation, acidifying: 20g / 1m2.
  - Subsequent years of cultivation, acidifying: 30g / 1m2.
