Description

Ogród 2001 Fertiliser for Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas

  • Acidifies the soil: The nitrogen content in the form of ammonium sulphate helps maintain the appropriate soil pH, favourable for acid-loving plants.
  • Supports root development: Phosphorus stimulates root system growth, ensuring better nutrient uptake.
  • Abundant and long-lasting flowering: Thanks to the potassium and micronutrients content, plants flower intensively and for a longer time.
  • Beautiful colouring: Magnesium positively affects the intensity of flower and leaf colours.
  • Easy application: The granulated form of the fertiliser facilitates application and ensures even action.

Ogród 2001 Fertiliser is a specialised, granulated fertiliser designed for the care of acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons (rhododendrons and azaleas), hydrangeas, heathers and other species requiring acidic growing medium. Carefully selected proportions of nutrients ensure the product supports healthy plant growth, intense flowering and proper colouring of flowers and leaves. Ogród 2001 Fertiliser for Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas is an indispensable choice for those caring for lush flowering and healthy development of acid-loving plants. Ideal for both amateurs and professional gardeners.

Fertiliser composition:

  • PFC 1(C)(I)(a)(ii): Compound solid inorganic macronutrient fertiliser with micronutrients
  • NPK (MgS) 9.5-5-9.5 (3-43) fertiliser containing micronutrients (B), (Cu), (Fe), (Mn), (Zn) with low chloride content

When to apply?

Rhododendrons, hydrangeas and acid-loving plants

Fertilise in a radius wider than the crown, mixing with soil if possible and watering abundantly. For hydrangeas and older rhododendrons use doses from the upper range, for heathers and young plants from the lower range. In spring apply fertiliser at a dose of 20-40 g/m2, the second dose at 20 g/m2. In subsequent years, apply fertilisation 2-3 times with a total dose of 50-80 g/m2.

Before planting in spring, then apply the second dose no later than the end of July. In subsequent years, apply fertilisation 2-3 times (March-April, May-June and the last by the end of July).
