Florovit Compost Activator - activates and accelerates composting

Benefits of using Florovit Compost Activator:

  • Enables the production of your own organic fertiliser,
  • Accelerates the composting of organic residues from home and garden,
  • Promotes the formation of natural humus,
  • Stimulates the development of beneficial microorganisms in the soil,
  • Reduces unpleasant odours.
  • Provides nutrients essential for the health and life of bacteria.

Florovit Compost Activator is a waste-utilising product (with microorganisms) designed to activate and accelerate the composting of organic waste from home and garden. It supplies nutrients essential for the health and life of bacteria. It activates microorganisms.

Composting grass, leaves, cuttings and other garden waste allows you to produce your own valuable fertiliser. Composting uses microorganisms (anaerobic bacteria, nematodes, fungi), soil microorganisms (earthworms) and oxygen. Solve the problem of leaves and cut grass in your garden. Fertilisers produced during composting can be used for the care of all crops without the risk of overdose.

Using the activator, you will quickly obtain high-quality compost with high fertility. It can be used for all types of composters.

What to compost and what not to compost?

Suitable for composting:

  • cut grass,
  • weeds without seeds,
  • fallen leaves,
  • chopped branches,
  • fireplace ash,
  • vegetable and fruit peelings (but not citrus – their skins are soaked with chemical preservatives),
  • coffee grounds and tea leaves.

Not suitable for composting:

  • plant parts damaged by diseases and pests,
  • plant shoots with spots, discolorations or galls,
  • oak leaves,
  • coloured paper,
  • salty and greasy table scraps.

Why are they unsuitable? Because they slow down the decomposition of matter.

Composition of Florovit Compost Activator fertiliser:

Fertiliser produced by mixing fertiliser types marked with the FERTILISER WE sign
(nitrogen fertiliser A.1.9 and fertiliser containing secondary nutrients D.4.)

  • 32.0 % (N) total nitrogen;
  • 32.0 % (N) amide nitrogen;
  • 7.5 % (MgO) total magnesium oxide

How to use Florovit Compost Activator fertiliser:

  • Composted materials are laid in layers 10-15 cm thick. Each layer is sprinkled with compost activator at 25-30 g/m2.
  • The material forming the compost should resemble a soaked sponge, so the compost heap should be sprayed/watered, especially during dry periods. After 2-3 weeks, it is recommended to turn the heap.
  • Large amounts of cut grass are best laid in thin layers alternating with thicker material – chopped branches, perennial shoots, wood shavings.
  • If layers are thicker than 15 cm, the grass may compact and rot, producing unpleasant odours.
