Description
Twój Ogród fertiliser for blueberries - granulated
- Long-lasting effect,
- Rich in micro and macroelements,
- Properly balanced nutrient proportions - strong plant growth, and tasty, sweet and firm fruits,
- Stabilises acidic soil reaction, ensuring proper plant growth,
- Prevents leaf chlorosis during the growing season,
- Efficient - 1kg of fertiliser is enough to fertilise 33 m2 of area with blueberry bushes.
Twój Ogród fertiliser for blueberries is a granulated mineral compound fertiliser NPK with magnesium and nutritional micronutrients. It is intended for the fertilisation of blueberries. The appropriate amount of nitrogen guarantees abundant yields. The high potassium content positively affects the intense colour. The fertiliser uses forms of nutrients that move poorly in the soil, protecting them from leaching into groundwater.

Blueberry fertilisation calendar with Twój Ogród fertiliser:
Blueberry cultivation and care conditions:
Blueberries prefer sheltered garden spots, warm and sunny, where the fruits develop good colour, gain flavour and cope better during winter. Young bushes should be protected against frost in winter. Frost resistance varies depending on the variety. Blueberries are sensitive to spring frosts in May.
For good growth, abundant flowering and fruiting, blueberries should be planted in fertile and weed-free soils. The best growing medium for blueberries is humus-rich soil with an acidic pH from 3.5 to 4.6.
Proper care and regular fertilisation of blueberry bushes should be carried out until the end of July, using compound mineral fertilisers containing micro and macroelements. Blueberries should be watered frequently to keep the soil constantly moist, avoiding wetting leaves and flowers.
Mulching the soil positively affects growth, flowering and fruiting. Bark is most commonly used, which limits weed growth and retains water in the soil, additionally acidifying the soil.
Without proper fertilisation, blueberries quickly show deficiencies of essential elements, visible as poor plant growth, small fruits, and less intense flavour. Lack of regular nutrition with micro and macroelement fertilisers weakens the bush, increasing susceptibility to diseases and pest attacks.
Pruning blueberries during the first 3-4 years after planting involves sanitary pruning, which consists of removing diseased, frost-damaged, weak, and mechanically damaged shoots. From about the 4th-5th year after planting, rejuvenation and thinning pruning should be performed cyclically, involving shortening and removing the oldest, excessively dense shoots. The bush should have 6 to 8 main shoots. Blueberries yield best on 2-3 year old shoots. Pruning is best done at the end of winter or early spring.
Granulated fertiliser for blueberries Twój Ogród - usage tips:
- Fertilisers should be used in a balanced way, and fertilisation should be based on the plant’s needs and the growing medium’s fertility. Prevent fertiliser from reaching areas not intended for fertilisation.
- Store fertiliser in closed, original packaging, in dry rooms, away from food and feed, in a place inaccessible to children.
- During storage and transport, protect from heat, direct sunlight, moisture and mechanical damage to packaging.
- Under the specified storage conditions, the shelf life is unlimited.
