Description

Harvista 1.3 SC - growth regulator for plant development in orchard crops

  • Specifically prepared for apple trees and pear trees.
  • Delays ripening without negative impact on the fruit.
  • Fruits increase by 3-4 millimetres, and their colouration also improves.
  • Allows waiting for optimal weather conditions – sunny days and cold nights, which improves photosynthesis balance, ultimately resulting in impressive colouring of apples.
  • Reduces pre-harvest fruit drop, including in susceptible varieties such as Red Delicious, Szampion and Conference.
  • Maintains excellent fruit quality during harvest.
  • Available as a convenient liquid concentrate.

Harvista 1.3 SC is a plant protection product from the group of growth regulators. It is available as a liquid suspension concentrate for dilution with water (SC).

Using Harvista offers many benefits. Among others, it enables delaying the harvest date by 14-21 days without negative impact on the storage durability of the fruit. A 2-week delay in harvest results in a yield increase of about 1.5 to 2 tons of apples per hectare, and in the case of delaying pear harvest by a week, even 4-5 tons more per hectare.

Moreover, the Harvista growth regulator maintains fruit quality during harvest. It prevents cracking of Gala apples. It prevents greasiness in apples of the Jonagold, Red Jonaprince, Jonagored, Decosta, Ligol groups. It maintains the greenish skin colour of Golden Delicious apples and Conference pears.

Additionally, it significantly improves the quality of fruit from the second harvest, although often after using Harvista the fruit can be picked in a single harvest - combined with post-harvest application of the original SmartFresh ProTabs product, it eliminates surface sunburn on Red Delicious and other varieties.

Delayed fruit harvest usually occurs at lower temperatures, so delaying harvest and loading fruit at a lower pulp temperature results in lower electricity consumption.

Apples sprayed with Harvista and subsequently treated with SmartFresh are ready for shipment to distant markets even after 9 months of storage.

The product is intended for use with a fine-droplet, row orchard sprayer equipped with a special dosing attachment mounted on the sprayer (to be used in tractors with closed cabins).

Before use, contact a representative of AgroFresh Polska Sp. z o.o. - application requires specialised equipment and its calibration before treatment.

Harvista 1.3 SC - invaluable help for fruit producers:

  • Enables efficient management of fruit harvests in large orchard blocks.
  • Especially helpful in the face of labour shortages for harvesting pears or apples.

  • Allows controlled delay of harvest date by 14-20 days, achieving high external fruit quality while maintaining high internal quality expressed by excellent storage ability of apples and pears. Delayed harvest of optimally coloured, grown, firm fruit without risk of pre-harvest drop.

Growth regulator Harvista - active substance content:

  • 1-methylcyclopropene (a compound from the cyclopropene derivatives group) – 17.15 g/l (1.3%).

Harvista 1.3 SC - application in crops:

  • Pear tree,
  • Apple tree.

How to use the Harvista 1.3 SC growth regulator?

Harvista is intended for use to delay ripening, maintain fruit quality during harvest, and reduce pre-harvest fruit drop.

It can be used in pear tree and apple tree crops.

Detailed information on dosage and use of the Harvista 1.3 SC plant protection product can be found in the "Dosage" section and in the plant protection product label attached in the downloadable files.

Growth regulator Harvista - pre-harvest interval and withholding period:

Pre-harvest interval - the period from application until people and animals can enter the treated area:
