Homerun is a mid-early variety of green string bean, beginning to yield about 59 days after emergence. It produces very long, intensely green pods with high commercial quality.
The pods are thick, fleshy, with a distinct shine, reaching 16–20 cm in length and about 10 mm in diameter. Due to its attractive appearance and uniformity, the variety is especially recommended for hand harvesting for the fresh market.
