Effect of the Product 🌾
Koniczynka Dicotex is a selective herbicide that only affects certain weed species. It works systemically – the active ingredient is absorbed through the leaves and transported in the plant sap. This disrupts cell division, leading to deformities of leaves and stems, growth inhibition, dwarfing, followed by chlorosis, necrosis, and drying out of the plants including their roots. This prevents regrowth.
First symptoms appear after a few days, with the complete dying process occurring about 7 days after application.
Conditions for Optimal Growth and Effectiveness ☀️
The best conditions for the product’s effectiveness are temperatures above 12°C, sufficient soil moisture, and sunlight. Rain within 24 hours after application reduces effectiveness as the product can be washed off.
Active Ingredient Content in 1 Liter of Product 🧪
The product contains 2,4-D from the phenoxycarboxylic acid group at 70 g/l (6.59%), MCPA also 70 g/l (6.59%), Mecoprop-P 42 g/l (3.95%), and Dicamba 20 g/l (1.88%).

Sensitive weeds include creeping buttercup, white clover, dandelion, and daisies. Plantain is considered moderately resistant.
Waiting Times and Safety Intervals ⏱️
The safety interval, meaning the time before people and animals can re-enter the treated area, is 6 hours. The area should only be entered once the spray solution is completely dry. There is no relevant waiting time before harvest.
Preparation of the Spray Solution 💧
Before preparation, the required amount should be accurately measured. Shake the packaging well before use. Pour the measured amount into a spray tank partially filled with water and then fill up with water. Mix the solution thoroughly according to the sprayer’s instructions or mechanically. After each pause, the solution must be mixed again. Rinse empty packaging three times with water and add the rinse water to the tank, then fill up and mix again. The spray solution should be used immediately after preparation.

Before application, all affected persons should be informed. Eating, drinking, or smoking is not allowed during application. Protective gloves (nitrile) and safety goggles should be worn. Water bodies must not be contaminated with the product or its packaging. Do not clean equipment near surface waters. Avoid contamination through drainage ditches and prevent spray drift. During flowering, apply the product outside of bee activity times. The product must be kept out of reach of children. Store in the original packaging, separate from food, drinks, and animal feed, and in a way that prevents unauthorized access. Storage temperature should be between 0°C and 30°C.
