KS-11 - mowing mixture - tolerates prolonged water shortages

Advantages of the KS-11 mowing mixture:

  • For mineral soils

The KS-11 mowing mixture has been created for long-term use.

We recommend the KS-11 mixture for implementation on dry soils. Especially on low-fertility, persistently dry soils.

A characteristic feature of the KS-11 mowing mixture is tolerance to prolonged water shortages. This is all thanks to the inclusion of appropriate grass species with such properties in the composition.

Additionally, the use of grasses such as purple moor-grass, soft-leaved tall fescue ensures obtaining a sufficiently large amount of green mass. This mass is worth using for hay and haylage.

We recommend more frequent mowing of the green mass produced from the KS-11 mixture, preferably before the plants flower.

Use the KS-11 mowing mixture on mineral soils.

What is the composition of the KS-11 mowing mixture?

  • Western ryegrass 2n - 5%
  • Perennial ryegrass 4n - 10%
  • Soft-leaved tall fescue - 25%
  • Beardless brome - 10%
  • Purple moor-grass / variety 1 - 20%
  • Purple moor-grass / variety 2 - 15%
  • Red fescue - 15%
