CHEROKEE LEEK - VARIETY FEATURES:
purpose: fresh market, processing
Leek Cherokee is a late, autumn hybrid variety with an upright habit and dark, blue-green leaf colour. It is intended for early and late autumn harvest, distinguished by high yield and uniform stem.
The plant is characterised by tolerance to thrips and good ability to recover after stressful weather conditions. An additional advantage of this variety is the wide harvesting window and ease of cleaning after harvest.
