Description
ACTION OF LOGIK 240 EC:
LOGIK 240 EC acts systemically, which means that after extremely rapid penetration through the leaves, the active substance quickly moves down to the roots and rhizomes, destroying weeds from the very foundation. By blocking fatty acid biosynthesis at an early stage, the product mercilessly stops the growth of unwanted plants. The effects are visible to the naked eye: weed leaves discolor (chlorosis, reddening), and the youngest shoots wither, leading to complete death of the intruder within about 7 days.
A major advantage of the product is its rainfastness – possible rainfall occurring just one hour after treatment does not reduce its effectiveness. The product performs best under conditions of intense weed growth, supported by warm weather and moist soil, which maximises its impact. Annual monocotyledonous weeds are easiest to control from the 2-leaf stage to the beginning of tillering, while troublesome perennial weeds at the 4-6 leaf stage.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
clethodim (compound from the cyclohexanedione group) - 240 g/l (24.11%)
Advantages of using LOGIK 240 EC:
- Rapid rainfastness: The product is fully safe from rain just one hour after spraying, providing certainty and flexibility in planning treatments.
- Comprehensive systemic action: Movement of the substance down the plant ensures destruction not only of above-ground parts but also persistent roots and rhizomes (including couch grass).
- Wide range of applications: The impressive list of minor crop registrations makes this product a versatile tool in the hands of any modern grower.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Sugar beet, fodder beet, common horseradish, turnip - 56 days
- Soya - 55 days
- Winter oilseed rape, black mustard, Sarepta mustard, spring oilseed rape, opium poppy, common sunflower, fibre flax - not required
- Common flax, industrial hemp, tobacco, energy willow, ornamental plants, ornamental plant nurseries - not applicable
