Description
HOW LOOP WORKS:
Loop is a selective systemic herbicide intended for effective control of a broad spectrum of dicotyledonous weeds in winter and spring cereals. Available as a water-soluble granule, which facilitates application.
The product is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and roots of weeds, then efficiently distributed throughout the plant. The active ingredients in Loop inhibit a key enzyme – acetolactate synthase (ALS), leading to the suppression of amino acid synthesis essential for growth. As a result, cells in the shoot and root growth tips stop dividing, effectively halting weed development. Although the full effect is visible after 14-21 days as yellowing and dying of weeds, the dying process begins immediately after application. The herbicide is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds, especially at the 2-6 leaf stage.
Advantages of using Loop:
-Systemic action: The herbicide penetrates deep into the plant, reaching the roots and destroying the weed from within.
-High efficacy: Effectively controls a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds, including field violet, scentless mayweed, and common chickweed.
-Wide application: Intended for use in winter cereals (wheat, barley, triticale, rye) and spring cereals (wheat, barley, oats, triticale, rye).
-Convenient form: Granules for preparing a water suspension facilitate precise dosing and application.
-Long-lasting effect: The weed dying process continues, ensuring lasting crop protection.
LOOP ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
bensulfuron methyl (a sulfonylurea derivative) - 500 g/kg (50.0%)
metsulfuron methyl (a sulfonylurea derivative) - 40 g/kg (4.0%)
