Description

LUMAX DUO PAK:

Lumax Duo Pak is a herbicide that provides effective weed control in maize cultivation in a single application. It is a combination of two products, three active substances and three modes of action, ensuring the highest efficacy in controlling barnyard grass and dicotyledonous weeds, including troublesome ones.

Advantages of Lumax Duo Pak:

- Comprehensive action: Controls a wide spectrum of dicotyledonous weeds, including hard-to-control species such as knotweed and other knotweeds.

- Fast and long-lasting effect: Acts quickly, providing visible results within a few days, while also offering long-term protection against re-infestation (thanks to mesotrione and terbuthylazine).

- Weather-independent: Effectiveness is not dependent on weather conditions, even in drought. Acts both through leaves and soil.

- Safe for maize: Fully selective for maize, causing no damage.

The 2 ha package contains:

- Lumax Duo 3x1l

- Milagro Neo 2x1l

MODE OF ACTION OF LUMAX DUO :

Lumax Duo is a selective herbicide with systemic action. The product is a concentrate in the form of a suspension concentrate for dilution with water (SC). It contains two active substances with different modes of action: mesotrione and terbuthylazine.

Moderate rainfall and warm weather favour the product's activity.

LUMAX DUO ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

mesotrione (a compound from the triketone group) – 70 g/l (6.26%),

terbuthylazine (a compound from the triazine group) – 330 g/l (29.52%).

LUMAX DUO SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Lumax Duo - effect on weeds:

Sensitive weeds: common barnyard grass, small geranium (application no later than cotyledon stage), barnyard grass (control until tillering stage using the higher recommended dose), field violet, field mustard, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, white goosefoot, field speedwell, scentless mayweed, field dandelion, speedwells, cleavers, black nightshade, knotgrass, spotted knotweed, bindweed knotweed, bird's knotweed, field chamomile, volunteer oilseed rape (application at early developmental stages of the weed), rough amaranth, shepherd's purse, field pennycress, leafy spurge.

Resistant weeds: couch grass, wild oats, corn poppy, foxtails.

How to apply Lumax Duo:

Maize

Maximum dose for single application: 1.5 l/ha.

Recommended dose for single application: 1.0-1.5 l/ha.

The higher recommended dose should be used for more advanced developmental stages of the targeted weeds and in case of heavy infestation.

Application timing: apply from the 2-leaf to the 8-leaf stage of maize (BBCH 12-18).

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

LUMAX DUO PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL:

not required

MODE OF ACTION OF MILAGRO NEO:

The product is a selective herbicide with systemic action. It is absorbed mainly through the leaves and is very rapidly translocated within the plant, quickly inhibiting its growth and development. The growth of weeds is halted shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of the plants. Complete weed death occurs approximately 20-25 days after treatment.

Advantages of using MILAGRO NEO:

- Rapid growth inhibition: Weeds stop competing with maize for water and nutrients shortly after treatment.

- Systemic efficacy: Penetrates deeply into the plant, preventing regeneration and regrowth of weeds.

- Crop safety: Highly selective product, safe for maize when used within recommended application timings.

- Excellent leaf coverage: Oil suspension formulation (OD) improves spray liquid adhesion.

MILAGRO NEO ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

nicosulfuron (a compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) - 40 g/l (4.15%)

MILAGRO NEO SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

Effect on weeds:

Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, shepherd's purse.

Moderately sensitive weeds: barnyard grass, scentless mayweed, cleavers.

Resistant weeds: field violet, white goosefoot, bindweed knotweed.

Note: The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds at the 2-4 leaf stage (dicotyledonous weeds) or from the 3-leaf stage to the end of tillering (monocotyledonous weeds). Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action, while dry conditions may significantly delay it.
