Description

MODE OF ACTION OF MIKROVIT® COPPER FERTILISER:

Thanks to the use of innovative systemic copper, MIKROVIT® COPPER demonstrates the highest biological effectiveness. The copper complex with organic acid contained in the fertiliser is rapidly recognised by the plant and transported to all organs, including newly developing young parts. Copper plays a fundamental role in the structure and proper functioning of vascular tissue, which directly improves the transport of water and other nutrients within the plant.

The systemic action of the preparation stimulates intensive biomass growth, increases nitrogen use efficiency, and accelerates lignin synthesis. This process radically increases the mechanical strength of plants, protecting, among others, cereals against the dangerous phenomenon of lodging. A unique advantage of regular use of the fertiliser is the reduction of the severity and harmfulness of pathogenic infections. The product visibly improves the natural health of plants not only during intensive field cultivation but also during the critical period of their subsequent storage in warehouses.

INDICATIONS FOR USE (BENEFICIAL EFFECT):

• Maximising vigour and copper (Cu) supply

• Reducing tissue susceptibility to pathogen infections

• Eliminating symptoms of so-called "new lands disease" (on soils rich in humus or with high pH)

Advantages of using MIKROVIT® COPPER:

  • Systemic Copper: The unique combination with organic acid guarantees unmatched absorption rate and full translocation within the plant.
  • Higher lodging resistance: Stimulates the development of mechanical tissues, ensuring stiffness of cereal stems and stalks.
  • Better health and storage: Enhances natural resistance to pathogenic pathogens and reduces storage losses of fruits and vegetables.
  • Optimal nitrogen utilisation: Supports nitrogen transformations in the plant, stimulating rapid growth of healthy biomass and higher commercial yield.

MIKROVIT® COPPER - SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND DOSES:

Application method: Foliar feeding in the form of an aqueous solution. Avoid treatments during strong sunlight, high temperatures, and strong winds.

Approximate single doses for crop groups:

Crop group Recommended single dose
Agricultural crops, fruit bushes, strawberry 0.5 – 2.0 l/ha
Fruit trees, grapevine 1.0 – 2.0 l/ha
Vegetables, ornamental plants 0.2 – 1.0 l/ha

Application timings for selected species:

Crop Optimal and optional treatment timings
Wheat and other cereals Autumn (winter): 3rd–6th leaf stage.
Spring (winter): after vegetation restart; (spring): leaf development - tillering;
Optional: stem elongation stage to beginning of heading.
Maize Main timing: 7th–8th leaf stage.
Optional: stem elongation to beginning of tassel development.
Sugar beet Main timing: beginning of leaf development.
Optional: beginning of row closure.
Potato Main timing: plant height approx. 10 cm.
Optional: plant height above 15 cm.
Pome fruit trees Main timing: "mouse ear" stage.
Optional: green bud stage.
Stone fruit trees Main timing: flower bud development.
Optional: after fruit harvest.
Fruit bushes Main timing: spring vegetation restart.
Optional: leaf and shoot development stage.
Strawberry Main timing: beginning of inflorescence development.
Optional: beginning of leaf development and after fruit harvest (1–2 treatments every 10–14 days).
Onion vegetables Main timing (onion, garlic): when bulb reaches 60–80% of typical size.
Optional: intensive leaf growth stage.
Root vegetables Main timing: beginning of leaf development and beginning of storage root development.
Optional: when root reaches 40–50% of typical size.
Solanaceous / cucurbit vegetables Solanaceous: intensive growth to beginning of flowering.
Cucurbits: leaf and lateral shoot development to beginning of flowering (1–3 treatments every 7–14 days).

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The fertiliser contains nitrogen in the form of urea, which may release ammonia and affect air quality. Depending on local conditions, appropriate professional preventive measures should be implemented during treatments.
