Description
Calcium nitrate NITRABOR is intended for the fertilisation of horticultural plants, especially fruit trees, berry plants, field vegetables and crops
under covers, particularly species requiring fertilisation with increased
doses of boron (apple trees, cabbage plants).
For top dressing use as an excellent source of calcium and nitrogen readily
available to plants.
Calcium nitrate is effective even under conditions of limited or excessive
soil moisture. By supplying plants with available calcium, it prevents the occurrence
of many physiological and storage diseases, such as tomato blossom end rot
and bitter pit of apples and pears.
It positively affects soil structure, which does not become acidified, and the pH
remains at an optimal level.
FERTILISER COMPOSITION:
- nitrogen N – 15.4% (N-NO₃ - 14.1% , N-NH₄ - 1.3% )
- calcium Ca – 19.0% (CaO – 25.6% )
- boron B - 0.3%
The fertiliser is recommended for use in spring after the start of vegetation. It does not require
mixing with soil. It is advisable to split the total dose into 2 – 3 parts
applied at 3 – 4 week intervals.
Do not apply more than 250 kg/ha at one time.
APPLICATION:
- head cabbage 250 – 300 kg/ha
- field tomato 150 - 200 kg/ha
- cauliflower 350 – 500 kg/ha
- tomato under covers 2 - 3 kg/100m2
- fruiting strawberries 100 - 130 kg/ha
- orchards 250 – 500 kg/ha
- lawns 3 – 3.5 kg/100m2
