How to use Nixon 50 SG?

Nixon 50 SG active substance:

nikosulfuron (a compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) – 500 g/kg (50%)

Mode of action of Nixon 50 SG:

Nixon 50 SG is a water-soluble granule herbicide. The product has systemic action, intended for post-emergence control of certain species of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds in maize.

Nixon 50 SG is designed for foliar application - absorbed through leaves and roots, it quickly moves within the plant causing inhibition of its growth and development. This occurs shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of young weed leaves and their death, starting from the growing points.

The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds. Weeds with medium sensitivity in later growth stages (above 6 leaves) are resistant to the product. Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action, while cool and dry conditions may delay it.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Nixon 50 SG effect on weeds:

Weed sensitivity to Nixon 50 SG in mixture with RIMEL 25 SG/Egzecutor 25 SG/RINCON 25 SG and adjuvant Asystent+ at 0.05% vol.:

Sensitive weeds: green foxtail, field pansy, couch grass, bindweed knotweed, spotted knotweed, rough amaranth, bluegrass (only at the maximum recommended dose of the products).

Moderately sensitive weeds: white goosefoot.

Nixon 50 SG dosage:

Maize

Application timing: Perform treatment early after emergence, at BBCH growth stage 12-18 (2-8 maize leaves).

Spraying should be done when most dicotyledonous weeds are at 2-4 leaf stage.

Nixon 50 SG should be applied together with RIMEL 25 SG/Egzecutor 25 SG/RINCON 25 SG and adjuvant Asystent+ at the following doses:

Maximum / recommended dose for single application:

NIXON 50 SG at 80 g/ha + RIMEL 25 SG/Egzecutor 25 SG/RINCON 25 SG 40 g/ha + adjuvant Asystent+ 0.05% vol.

or

Maximum / recommended dose for single application:

NIXON 50 SG at 60 g/ha + RIMEL 25 SG/Egzecutor 25 SG/RINCON 25 SG 30 g/ha + adjuvant Asystent+ 0.05% vol.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1
