Substral Polysect insecticide spray - mode of action:

Substral Polysect acts systemically, meaning it penetrates deeply into the plant structures and moves with the plant sap. As a result, the plant becomes protected from the inside. A key feature of this product is its rain resistance, as it remains active in the plant for up to 21 days.

The main mechanism involves the active substance being quickly absorbed by the green parts of the plant, such as leaves, and then transported with the sap throughout the plant structure. This means that even if the plant is not directly sprayed, sucking pests like insects die upon contact with the substance.

Additionally, rain resistance and the lack of impact from rainfall, washing off from the plant surface, or sunlight exposure underline the durability and effectiveness of this product. Therefore, even harsh weather conditions do not significantly affect the product's efficacy. This makes it an effective tool for protecting plants against pests regardless of weather conditions.

Instructions for Use:

1. Preparation:

   • Shake the product before use to ensure a uniform consistency.

2. Application:

   • Spray plants evenly, aiming to cover both the upper and lower sides of the leaves.
   • Avoid dripping of the spray liquid, focusing on thorough coverage of the plant surface.

3. Spray Direction:

   • Direct the spray nozzle towards the plant.
   • Ensure the nozzle is not pointed towards the user or bystanders.

4. Application Timing:

   • Spray after the first signs of pest presence appear.
   • If necessary, repeat the treatment 14 days after the first application.
   • Use outdoors from April to September, indoors all year round.

5. Treatment Limits:

   • The maximum number of treatments per growing season is 4.
   • The interval between treatments should be at least 14 days.

Notes:

• Spray the plant to ensure wetting of both the lower and upper leaf surfaces.
• Before use on valuable plants, perform a test treatment to check for any damage.
• Apply early in the morning or early evening, avoiding direct sunlight.
