How to use Primextra Gold?

Primextra Gold active substance:

terbuthylazine (compound from the triazine group) – 187.5 g/l (17.4%),

s-metolachlor (compound from the chloroacetanilide group) – 312.5 g/l (29.0%)

Action of Primextra Gold:

Primextra Gold is a systemic herbicide. The preparation is absorbed through roots, seedlings, hypocotyl and leaves. Weeds are destroyed before emergence and shortly after. For effective control of grass weeds, the product should be applied before weed emergence. Moderate rainfall and warm weather favour the product's action.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Primextra Gold action on weeds:

Sensitive weeds: common geranium, annual grass, field violet, common chickweed, purple deadnettle, white goosefoot, scentless mayweed, field bindweed, Persian speedwell, cleavers, knotgrass, common chamomile, rough pigweed, shepherd's purse, green foxtail.

Moderately sensitive weeds: black nightshade, field bindweed, volunteer oilseed rape.

Dose:

Maize

Application timing: apply pre-emergence immediately after sowing on well-cultivated (without clods), moist soil up to the 4-leaf stage of the crop (BBCH 00-14).

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 4.0 l/ha.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

USE OF PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS IN SMALL-SCALE CROPS AND APPLICATIONS

The user alone is responsible for the effectiveness and phytotoxicity of the plant protection product used in small-scale crops.

Sweet maize

Application timing: pre-emergence immediately after sowing on well-cultivated (without clods), moist soil up to BBCH14, i.e. up to the 4-leaf development stage (BBCH 00-14).

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 4.0 l/ha.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
