PRINZ CELERIAC - VARIETY FEATURES:
Prinz is a valued celeriac variety, distinguished by high resistance to bolting and excellent plant health. It provides high and stable yields, even under variable growing conditions.
It is ideal for early plantings and accelerated production under covers – glass, foil, or fleece. Therefore, it is especially recommended for producers aiming to achieve an early, high-quality yield for the fresh market.
This variety produces shapely, round, and smooth roots with a very compact, white flesh structure that retains its colour even after blanching – a highly valuable trait in processing.
The leaves of Prinz celeriac are medium length, dark green, compact, and upright, which facilitates care and harvesting. Additionally, the plant features high resistance to septoria leaf blotch of celeriac, ensuring healthy growth and reliability in cultivation.
