Description
MODE OF ACTION OF ProVecta:
ProVecta introduces a completely new quality in insect control, using an advanced physical mechanism of insect control. After application to the target pest by direct spraying, the specific cross-linking precursors contained in the product rapidly bond on its body. As a result, a three-dimensional, permeable structural network forms on the insect's surface, causing immediate, complete physical immobilisation of the pest. The absence of chemical active substances means the product does not induce resistance in the targeted population, ensuring maximum effectiveness even against insects resistant to traditional sprays.
A major advantage of ProVecta is the complete lack of residual effect, meaning it leaves no toxic traces or chemical residues on treated surfaces after drying. Due to this unique, ecological safety profile, the product can be safely used in food processing facilities, even in direct proximity to food products. The product does not stain or soil the environment, allowing for quick, clean, and uncompromising cleaning of residential, livestock, and storage premises.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
A mixture of specific cross-linking precursors - forming a three-dimensional permeable network on the insect's body
Advantages of using ProVecta:
- Immediate immobilisation effect: Acts instantly upon direct contact with the insect, trapping it in a specialised microstructure and preventing movement.
- Zero chemicals and no resistance: Contains no traditional biocidal substances, eliminating the risk of resistance development in insects and making the product reliable with every treatment.
- Safety in the food industry: Safe application in food storage and processing areas due to the absence of harmful chemical residues.
- Aesthetics and cleanliness: The product is fully neutral to growing media, does not soil, leave streaks, or stain sprayed walls, furniture, and bedding.
Pre-harvest interval:
- All applications and facilities - no pre-harvest interval (not applicable)
ProVecta - SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
Mosquitoes outdoors
| Target pests: | Mosquitoes |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Concentration 0.15% (1.5 ml of product in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Spray insect gathering places (bushes, thickets, etc.) using a universal sprayer. WARNING: Do not exceed 0.15% concentration when applying on insects living on plants due to the risk of plant damage (phytotoxic effect). |
| Maximum number of treatments: | As needed, when pests appear |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Biting midges outdoors
| Target pests: | Biting midges |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Concentration 0.15% (1.5 ml of product in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Apply in places of mass insect gatherings (bushes, thickets). Do not exceed the recommended concentration on vegetation due to possible phytotoxic effects. |
| Maximum number of treatments: | Interventionally, upon noticing insect presence |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Flying insects inside and outside premises
| Target pests: | Flies, mosquitoes (indoors) |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Flies: Concentration 2.0% (20 ml in 1 l of water) Indoor mosquitoes: Concentration 1.0% (10 ml in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Apply the product directly onto the insect using a sprayer. It is recommended to perform the treatment in the evening when most flying insects rest on walls. WARNING: Do not apply directly on plants (risk of phytotoxicity). Repeat treatment if further insects are present. |
| Maximum number of treatments: | Ad hoc, as needed for sanitation |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Bed bugs indoors
| Target pests: | Bed bugs |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Concentration 2.0% (20 ml of product in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Spray all areas where bed bugs occur and gather (mattresses, bed frames, headboards, upholstered furniture), paying special attention to cracks and crevices. Due to the approximately 40-day life cycle, repeat treatment after 21-28 days. At temperatures above 30°C, repeat after 14 days or if population increases again. |
| Maximum number of treatments: | Treatment block according to the pest's life cycle |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Fleas (animal surroundings)
| Target pests: | Fleas |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Concentration 0.5% (5 ml of product in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Use exclusively to spray areas where pests reside: animal kennels and bedding. WARNING: Under no circumstances apply the product directly on animals! |
| Maximum number of treatments: | As needed based on insect presence |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Running insects and arachnids
| Target pests: | Cockroaches (German cockroaches, American cockroaches, etc.), ants, arachnids |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Cockroaches, arachnids, other running insects: Concentration 2.0% (20 ml in 1 l of water) Ants: Concentration 1.0% (10 ml in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Apply the product directly onto the target insect/arachnid using a universal sprayer. Repeat treatment if pests are still present. |
| Maximum number of treatments: | As needed, interventionally |
| Recommended droplet size: | 80 - 120 microns |
Storage pests
| Target pests: | Food moths (flour moth, grain moth and others) |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | Concentration 1.0% (10 ml of product in 1 l of water) |
| Application timing: | Apply the solution directly onto the insect. Spray locally both flying insects and those resting on wall surfaces in warehouses or pantries. |
| Maximum number of treatments: | Ad hoc, interventionally |
| Recommended droplet size: | 50 - 60 microns |
