Description
Słomex Intermag – foliar fertiliser for straw decomposition
Słomex is a liquid preparation accelerating the decomposition of post-harvest residues and improving soil fertility with plant-available nutrients and humus. It intensifies the mineralisation processes of post-harvest residues, which are a valuable source of nutrients and organic matter, and facilitates agrotechnical treatments. Additionally, it limits the development of the overwintering stage of many pathogenic fungi, including dangerous fungi of the Fusarium genus, which are sources of life- and health-threatening mycotoxins.
Słomex - key benefits of using the preparation:
- Increase in nutrient content and humus in the soil,
- Easier and faster soil cultivation,
- Better emergence, growth, and health of plants.
Mode of action of Słomex preparation:
Słomex contains nitrogen, utilised by mineralising bacteria, as well as an optimal set of micronutrients – copper, zinc and manganese (which accelerate lignin decomposition), iron and molybdenum (which accelerate cellulose decomposition).
Composition of Słomex Intermag preparation:
- Total nitrogen (N) - 180 g/l (15.5% w/w),
- Ureic nitrogen (N) - 180 g/l (15.5% w/w),
- Water-soluble sulphur trioxide (SO3) - 29 g/l (2.5% w/w),
- Boron (B) as sodium salt - 1.2 g/l (0.1% w/w),
- Copper (Cu) as sulphate - 0.12 g/l (0.01% w/w),
- Iron (Fe) as sulphate - 17.4 g/l (1.5% w/w),
- Manganese (Mn) as chloride - 3.2 g/l (0.28% w/w),
- Molybdenum (Mo) as ammonium salt - 0.58 g/l (0.05% w/w),
- Zinc (Zn) as sulphate - 2.1 g/l (0.18% w/w).
How to use Słomex Intermag? Słomex application.
Słomex should be applied as an aqueous solution on post-harvest residues. Słomex can be used together with other preparations after conducting a test confirming compatibility. Adjust the solution concentration and spray liquid volume according to the amount of straw or other plant residues left in the field.
Słomex fertiliser can be applied by:
- Fine droplet spraying.
What can Słomex straw decomposition preparation be mixed with? Mixing table.
The Słomex fertiliser mixing table is available in the "downloads" tab.
Słomex – dosage. When to apply Słomex Intermag?
Dosage information for Słomex is available in the "dosage" tab. You will also find information on when to apply Słomex and how much Słomex product to use per hectare.
