CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLINO INDUSTRIAL SALT:

Industrial salt is an economical and efficient product, representing an excellent alternative to more expensive types of salt, especially in technical applications and winter maintenance of large areas. It is a raw material based on sodium chloride, which despite containing minor mineral impurities, retains the full physical properties necessary for effective performance. These impurities do not negatively affect the product's ability to lower the freezing point of water, making it an effective agent for ice control. Thanks to its lower price, industrial salt allows significant cost optimisation in manufacturing plants and snow removal companies.

Product application:

The product has wide use in two main areas:

Usage tips:

Ice control

Industrial salt should be applied similarly to traditional road salt.

a) Application

The agent should be spread evenly over the surface requiring de-icing. In the case of thick ice layers or compacted snow, it is recommended to mechanically remove the top layer first, which will accelerate the salt’s action.

b) Residue removal

After the ice melts, slush forms which should be removed from the surface to prevent refreezing and maintain the traffic routes’ passability.

STORAGE
