Description

Startus Active - a fertiliser that will prepare your plants well for winter

What are the benefits of using Startus Active fertiliser?

  • Development of the root system,
  • Improvement of the plant immune system and condition,
  • Effective elimination of nutrient deficiencies: nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium,
  • Convenience - liquid form,
  • Content of valuable humic acids.

Startus Active is a liquid organic-mineral fertiliser from Agronutrition. Its composition primarily includes humic acids.

It contains NPK macronutrients. They are based on the Acreciactiv formula, and it also contains synthetic amino acids and humic acids. Startus Active primarily anchors the plant in the soil (strongly influences root system development).

The humic acids contained increase soil fertility. The soil becomes richer in nutrients that are more available to plants.

The fertiliser also contains two free amino acids: L-Tryptophan and L-Methionine. They influence the synthesis of phytohormones responsible for root growth. L-Methionine is a precursor of ethylene, L-Tryptophan is a precursor of auxins. Ethylene and auxins act synergistically within the plant.

Startus Active is based on the bioactive Acreciactiv formula. Its role is to reduce plant stress and increase photosynthesis efficiency, resulting in faster growth and development of plants. It also increases nutrient uptake and improves nutrient transport.

What is the composition of Startus Active fertiliser?

  • Total nitrogen (N) content – min. 10.0 % (w/w).
  • Phosphorus content calculated as P2O5 soluble in mineral acids - min. 3.5 % (w/w).
  • Potassium content calculated as K2O – min. 10.0 % (w/w).
  • Organic carbon (Corg) content min. 9.0 % (w/w).
  • Humic acids content – min. 16.0 % (w/w).
  • Organic matter content min. 50 % (dry matter).
  • Tryptophan content – min. 0.01 % (w/w).
  • Methionine content – min. 0.01 % (w/w).

How can Startus Active be applied?

Startus Active fertiliser should be applied in autumn (specifically at the 4-8 leaf stage of oilseed rape at a dose of 3-5 l/ha). This application prepares plants perfectly for stresses related to the coming winter. They will have a well-developed leaf rosette and programmed high yield potential, and above all, a very strong root system.

To achieve satisfactory results, apply an optimal amount of water to cover the entire plant.

Avoid treatments during strong sunlight and/or high temperatures. If possible, perform the treatment in the evening or early morning, especially when temperatures exceeding 25°C are forecast during the day.

In which crops can Startus Active be used?

Startus Active fertiliser can be used in the cultivation of:

  • winter oilseed rape,
  • cereals,
  • maize,
  • sugar beet,
  • potatoes,
  • cucumbers,
  • leguminous plants,
  • vegetables,
  • orchard plants (primarily strawberries, but also fruit trees and other berry plants).

It is also used for soaking roots to provide almost immediate nutrients, aiming for faster and more vigorous root development.
