MARINICE CLUSTER TOMATO - VARIETY FEATURES:
The fruits of Marinice are large, with an average weight ranging from 145 to 170 grams. They have an intense red colour both outside and inside, and their attractive, round shape makes them look very appetising. They also stand out with a high level of extract, reaching from 4.0 to 4.5 degrees BRIX, which translates into excellent taste and aroma. The fruit quality remains stable throughout the season, providing certainty to producers and satisfaction guarantees to consumers.
The plants are characterised by strong vigour and medium-late vegetation. Very good harvest uniformity ensures a high share of marketable fruits, and the possibility of harvesting both in clusters and "loose" offers greater flexibility in sales. One of the greatest advantages of the Marinice variety is its broad set of resistances, which significantly reduces the need for chemical protection. The plant shows high tolerance to dry top rot and lower susceptibility to damage caused by Macrolophus. Marinice performs excellently in cultivation under artificial lighting, enabling production and harvesting of fruits throughout the year, including the autumn period. Regardless of the season, it provides stable yields and high quality.
