Soda is a modern indeterminate tomato variety, characterised by extremely strong vigour and crop stability. The plant shows very high resistance to a wide range of diseases, which translates into yield security and reduced need for intensive chemical protection. Fruits gathered in regular clusters (4-5 pieces) reach a weight of 250-270 g, presenting a round, slightly flattened shape and an intense red colour.
A key advantage of the Soda variety is the harmonious combination of traditional, aromatic flavour with modern commercial durability. The fruits are firm and resistant to transport, maintaining freshness for a long time after harvest. Thanks to high resistance (HR) to tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, fusarium and brown leaf spot, as well as intermediate resistance (IR) to tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) and nematodes, this variety forms the foundation of efficient horticultural production.
