SV8840TM TOMATO - VARIETY FEATURES:
The SV8840TM variety is a tomato with medium vigorous growth and excellent fruit setting ability. The plant forms dense foliage that effectively protects the fruits from sunburn.
The fruits are oval, weighing about 90 g, very uniform in shape and size. They feature a thick, strong wall and high firmness, which ensures excellent durability in the field and after harvest. Tomatoes of this variety also have a high extract level (Brix), which gives them an intense flavour and good suitability for processing.
Application: ideal for producing diced tomatoes, purees and sauces – wherever a thick consistency and raw material durability are important.
